Yazan Al Atoum

Yazan Al Atoum is a structural engineer with over 10 years of experience, specialising in steel structures and composite structural elements. Yazan also prepares expert reports and provides engineering advice to legal professionals on matters involving structural engineering issues. He also provides engineering structural review and analysis of drawings, design and specifications of various structural material and system.

Over the course of his career Yazan has worked in multiple roles, including the design, supervision and coordination of projects. He has designed steel structures in large spans, accessible floors, pedestrian bridges, multi-story buildings, industrial buildings, platforms, cladding, supporting system, stairs, light poles, canopies, and other structures.

He has been involved in projects in the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Jordan, Angola and Vietnam, including of hospitals and rehabilitation centres, research centres, and district cooling plants. He is familiar with many international standards, including European and American.

Yazan is experienced in both the design of steel structures and is regularly responsible for reviewing the work of other designers. He also coordinates with draftsmen, in addition to overseeing progress of contractors on the construction site.
