We were asked to prepare a risk survey report for a major electricity provider in Jordan that covered a number of power stations. As the report was required urgently, time restrictions allowed us access to one of the multiple sites required, a four-(4)-phase power site with seven gas turbines and four steam turbines.
To navigate the obstacles presented by time limitations, we arranged to conduct a desktop review of management documents at other sites, including solar power plants, wind plants and other stations. We reviewed an abundance of maintenance procedures that showed ongoing and preventative maintenance of gas turbines, steam turbines and other electrical utilities.
