A fire broke out in a warehouse that manufactures pharmaceutical products in Amman, Jordan. Although the fire was successfully contained and extinguished, smoke billowed through the raw materials storage warehouse, potentially exposing all raw materials to contaminants. Because of the sensitive nature of pharmaceutical ingredients and the strict regulations in place to maintain high standards, it appeared that all raw materials would need to be discarded and replaced, costing the manufactures thousands.
CEERISK experts were instructed to determine the extent of contamination throughout the warehouse in order to ascertain whether all raw materials would need to be removed. Our experts attended the site and took wipe samples, which were then sent to laboratories in order to determine the extent of contamination.
