Our engineers in Abu Dhabi were instructed to investigate a fire at an office block in Jabal Ali in Dubai. The fire led to the regrettable death of one of the firefighters who was pinned under the front wall of the office block when it collapsed under the heat of the aggressively developing fire.
During the investigation, we deployed drones to document and analyse the burn patterns for the entire office block. We also identified, downloaded and analysed video footage which was recorded by security cameras at a petrol station across the street from the office block. Our analysis identified the circumstances at the time of the fire, and we were able to determine the exact origin and case of the fore.
