Operational Risks: Assessment of Management & Control Systems

While information about the risks and hazards on any given site can be ascertained and evaluated, the management and control systems in place to mitigate risks ensure that vital operations can continue to be carried out. Management and control systems determine what measures are in place to prevent and mitigate hazards, including fire & explosion, machinery breakdown, natural disasters, contamination, theft and handling of hazardous materials. Systems ranging from emergency plans, training of emergency responders, plant security, PTW (Permit To Work), fire safety, and many others will be discussed in detail. The webinar will focus on industrial risks and will also touch on large commercial risks.

Additionally, contingency and disaster recovery plans that allow rapid resumption of business following a catastrophic loss will be discussed.

This webinar looks at what purpose management and control systems serve to a company, in addition to looking at how to evaluate whether these systems fulfil their intended to a degree that can be considered acceptable.
