Mitigation & Reinstatement after the Flood

Floods can cause devastating damage to properties and communities, rendering buildings uninhabitable and causing serious damage to operations and machinery. In recent years we have observed a number of floods throughout the world, including in regions that previously were not susceptible to this type of damage and therefore remain unprepared. Many steps are required before a property can be returned to operation, whether that be through repair, reinstatement or replacement.

This webinar will look at how to respond to a serious flood, including steps to be taken at the early stages to mitigate further damage, effective strategies for removing flood water, and what goes into reinstating damaged properties. We will also look at the importance of working with local authorities and managing expectations with other stakeholders.
