Tengger Desert Solar Park, located in China, has a capacity of 1547 MW and is the largest solar plant as of 2016. Since then, a number of other solar energy plants, including PV and CSP technologies have been constructed, many with an impressively large capacity. In the MENA region and around the world, large power plants utilising PV technology continue to develop and to grow in size. Despite the many years since the commissioning of the first utility-scale PV plant, many questions related to failures remain unanswered or at best debated. Every year, scientists and insurers alike are discovering new challenges and are developing new ways to overcome them.

This webinar is intended to discuss the latest in managing claims arising during the construction and operation of utility-scale solar power plants. The webinar will draw on experience in claim investigations of both CSP and PV power plants. We will additionally look at how new technology continues to change and affect how claim investigations regarding solar energy plants changes along with other developments.
