A fire broke out inside a telecom site of a major mobile phone provider. The fire interrupted service coverage of part of the network. Initial investigation by local authority did not identify a specific cause and instead suspected a number of scenarios including an incendiary cause. CEERISK engineers were asked to investigate the origin and cause of the fire.
After a number of visits to the site and preservation of physical evidence, which was then closely examined, our experts were able to identify a failure in one of the power cables that connected power equipment inside the building to antennas and other devices on a communication tower outside the building.
