CEERISK organised a Technical Workshop on energy and engineering risks and losses for claims and underwriting teams at TrustRe in Manama, Bahrain on 25th of June. The workshop focused mainly on claims investigated by CEERISK experts over the years which involved complex engineering systems including turbines, IT data centres, PV solar power plants and other types of properties.
During the workshop, delegates were asked to contribute to the discussion with ideas, feedback and questions related to challenges faced by insurers and reinsurers when presented with claims.
CEERISK went on to organise another technical workshop on energy and engineering claims for claims team at IGI in Amman, Jordan on 4th of July. Being one of the leading engineering, energy and property insurers in the middle east region, IGA claims team in Amman contributed significantly to the discussion providing input on many challenges facing insurers and loss adjusters handling claims in the MENA region.
