A Technical Expert's Perspective of Defects in Wind Turbines

As we witness the implementation of a global push for Net Zero, countries around the world are deploying wind power plants. Although the old technologies have been tested and proven, and experience has led to new developments, defects continue to arise in wind turbine plants, resulting in disputes between owners and EPC contractors.

This webinar looks at the different types of defects that can arise during construction and operation of wind farms. This includes design, manufacturing, workmanship defects as well as supply chain issues that lead to delays and failure to deliver performance guarantees stipulated in EPC contracts.

The webinar will also discuss, and review common causes of engineering incidents that may lead to damage and interruption to generation capacity while providing an overview of risk assessment of large wind farms.
