Following a fire at a pharmaceutical manufacturing plant in the Middle East, CEERISK was instructed to investigate the impact of heat and humidity from smoke on the validity of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) used in the manufacture of medicine. The investigation required detailed analysis of applicable GMP guidelines in addition to the close examination and analysis of stored materials inside different type soft packaging.
CEERISK experts carried out global research, reaching out to a number of specialised pharmaceutical laboratories around the world to develop a protocol for testing and analysis of the material affected by the loss. Despite the restricting rules imposed by strict lockdown conditions, our experts were able to complete their research in timely fashion and issue a comprehensive report addressing all risk factors to the materials involved.
