CEERISK risk engineers were instructed to carry out a risk assessment of a petrochemical plant located. The plant sits on 2,250 m2 and contains processing hangars in addition to a large tank farm used to store raw feed and finished product, such as drilling oil used in the oil and gas industry, and transformer oil. The plant has multiple processes on site including distillation/fractionation, chemical extraction, neutralisation, filtration in addition to storage and loading.
During their survey of the plant, CEERISK engineers identified risks that give rise to concern and prepared recommendations to enhance the overall risk profile of the plant and the process.
